On the 15th and 16th of January kirra point came back to life. There has been some good days there in the last few years but these days were different. Kirra was the closest its been to old Kirra since the Superbank.
People told me that it looked just like old Kirra, having never seen old kirra I would have to take their word for it but all I knew was that the waves were amazing. On the 16th I got there on hight tide and left on low tide and it was still pumping, the higher tide was the best tho. Some people have said that it is the best Kirra in 20 years. I saw a photo from Ben Cahill that blew my mind, it was shot in the water and the wave looked so wide and heavy and perfect. I really hope this is a start of things to come with Kirra.
Hope you like the photos.
