Snapper Rocks has had some amazing days this year but the weekend just gone topped them all, Saturday the 10th was an epic day, perfect sunny weather, offshore winds all day and the most perfect waves that I have ever witnessed. From behind the rock all the wave through to Greenmount was perfect and I’m sure it was pumping all the wave through to Kirra as well. The waves were thick and barreled all the way down the bank, I have never seen as many amazing rides as I did on Saturday, 10 second barrels were the norm and guys were getting long pits and then coming out and then setting up for another long barrel on the same wave. I was there from 9 am till 4 pm and the waves stayed perfect the whole time.
