Over the last few days there has been some incredible waves on the Gold Coast. The Suberbank is lining up the best I have seen it all year and there are good banks at most of the beachies. There are alot of long point breaks in the world but the thing that makes the Superbank so good are the barrels. Endless perfect mechanical barrels peel down the bank, the only down side is that there can be 400 people trying surf these waves, but that’s not all bad some times as Dbah had some amazing waves with only 5 guys out, and Froggies had some heavy slabs if you were willing to wait for the good ones. Parko was out getting amongst it as was Steph Gilmore who was actually shooting photos as well.
